You At Your Core

For Parents Like You

If you're worried about your son, you're already doing something right.

This page isn't a sales pitch. It's what I wish someone had told me a few years ago.

He Is Not a Problem

You know your son is incredible. He's likely incredibly intelligent, empathetic, caring, and his wellbeing is something you think about all the time. Your son is not a problem, your son doesn't have a problem. Your son needs some outside influence to help him find himself and to assure him that he is destined to do incredible things.

Sound Familiar?

He's on his phone the second he walks in, and off it the second dinner's over.

He hasn't asked to go outside in longer than you can remember.

You ask him to do one thing around the house and it turns into a three day negotiation.

He's got hundreds of online friends and, as far as you can tell, maybe two real ones.

Somewhere along the way, "I don't know" became his answer to everything.

You have no idea what's actually going on in his head anymore, and he's stopped trying to tell you.

You're Not Imagining It

You're not overreacting, and you're not the only one seeing this. A generation of boys is growing up more connected to a screen than to the people and the world right in front of them, and most of them don't have the words for what that's costing them yet. That's not a character flaw. It's what happens when nobody's ever handed them the tools to think it through for themselves.

Here's Where the Program Actually Meets You

Every week of the program was built around a real concern, not a guess.

Here's exactly where your worries show up:

01

Worried about how much time he spends on his phone or gaming?

Week 3 is built entirely around technology and balance, without ever shaming him for enjoying it.

02

Worried he's lost touch with the outdoors?

Week 5 gets him back into unstructured time in nature, and why it matters more than it looks like it does.

03

Worried he doesn't have any work ethic?

Week 9 is built around real effort, ownership, and the discipline that actually pays off.

04

Worried he doesn't know who he is outside of a screen?

Week 1 starts there, on purpose, before anything else.

05

Worried his relationships are shallow?

Week 7 teaches him what real listening and real connection actually look like.

06

Worried he doesn't have any sense of direction?

Weeks 10 through 12 build toward exactly that, purpose, character, and what he wants to leave behind.

Why I Built This

I'm a single dad. I raised my son mostly on my own, and for a long time I told myself we had a good relationship, because we did. We laughed together, we spent real time together. It wasn't until a fishing trip a couple years back that it actually hit me: he was there with me, but half of him was still somewhere else, and I realized how much of his real thinking was happening in places I couldn't see or reach. This program is what I built because of that day. Not because I had it all figured out. Because I didn't, and I went looking for something that could help anyway.
